Picasso Ceramic Plate Portfolio Book

A rare and special portfolio of Picasso Ceramics published by Albert Skira, Inc., 1955. Foreword by Suzanne and George Ramié. This incredible portfolio contains 18 colorplates of Picasso's Ceramics, including the cover plate. Printed by L'Imprimerie Roto-Sadag S. A. in Geneva, Switzerland and finished on the Tenth Day of August, Nineteen Hundred and Fifty-Five. Plates are die cut and gently pasted to stiff paper, loose leaf in portfolio wraps. Original glassine cover is yellowed with some corners chipped away. Some front cover edges have slight tears and some interior pages are age-toned with slight edge discoloring. Color plates are in great condition and stunning. Perfect to keep as part of a book collection or to frame and hang as art.
