1930s French Art Deco Armoire

Elegant Art Deco armoire from France, 1930's. Beautiful matched chevron wood veneer doors with small brass decorative ornament on front. Sliding doors open to a single shelf with hardware to add hanging pole. Cabinet has clean geometric lines resting on slightly tapered feet. Original wood finish has been "refreshed" and shows lovely natural grain of the wood. Sliding doors show age-appropriate wear and slide with some resistance, consistent with a vintage piece with original tracks. Both functional and timeless, can work as a wardrobe, storage cabinet, or statement piece in a bedroom or living space. A classic example of early 20th-century European Art Deco design.
